I don’t love running.

But I do love being outside — so I gave myself a challenge: increase my pace and distance over 4 weeks.
Most days were hard. I checked my watch too often. But I showed up. By week 3, something clicked — I found my rhythm. I even started adding extra 10m Peloton Interactive classes on top of my runs. (Genius content, by the way)
And somewhere along the way, a shift happened — not just on the road, but at work.
I was leading in a space where I wasn’t the expert, navigating broad strategic and organizational change. The imposter syndrome? Very real.
So I went back to the basics:
🎯 Align on the problem
🤝 Get the right people in the room
🌱 Give yourself (and others) the grace to learn
➡️ Keep. Moving. Forward.
Now? I’m no longer sprinting toward a finish line 🏁 — I’m actually enjoying the run 🏃🏼♀️.
Stepping outside your comfort zone doesn’t just show you what you’re capable of — it often reveals what you actually enjoy.
If you’re navigating career change, strategic pivots, or stepping into unfamiliar territory as a leader — that’s my zone.
